Brunch Party Crashers
You donβt need an invitation, just grass. Good company to an already fantastic meal.
I love summer brunch
Thereβs nothing better than having brunch when itβs nice and sunny out. From a charcuterie board and salad to a BLT sandwich with a watermelon Moscow mule. Brunch in the summertime really hits the spot. This summer was tough with all of the lockdowns in effect. Most restaurants were closed for sit down. One way to support the local restaurants was to order my food to go. I would pick up my food, head home, lay out my blanket in the grass after making myself a happy hour cocktail and relaxing outside and reading a book.
Another great thing about this is that you can invite your friends over for an outside socially distance brunch picnic! Genius I know! Especially if your back yard is filled with flowers and if you have a pool thatβs extra points.
A reason to get all dressed up for brunch at home
Not only does this give you the opportunity to see your friends again and eat food but you can also take the opportunity to wear that favorite sun dress and get all fancy for once. Thereβs not many places or opportunities to get dressed up so take advantage of this home event.
here are some ideas on what to make this summer.
Street tacos with Spanish rice combined with a perfect margarita
Charcuterie board with white wine
Mushroom Burgers and corn on the cob with favorite sparkling seltzer
If you are feeling fancy make lobster and pair it with martini
I hope this inspires you to make the most out of the sunny weather this summer. Make sure to plan, host and most importantly have fun! Blast your favorite playlist, reminisce good times and talk about future vacations and events.
